Sara Cameli is a distinguished painter who has been creating art her entire life. Born in New York, she spent her early years moving many times, experiencing life in the midwest and northeast. She had the opportunity to live outside of the United States several times and attended high school in Jakarta, Indonesia. 

Sara’s deep connection to the landscapes of her youth served as a profound source of inspiration for her art. Her paintings reflect intimate botanical close ups as well as vast landscapes, lush forests,  serene lakes and coastal marshes.  Her lifelong appreciation for nature’s beauty and complexity is evident in her work.
